Mario A. Barquin

Mario was born in Jersey City and raised in West New York.  He was baptized and received all of his sacraments from St. Joseph’s of the Palisades RC Church, in West New York, where he also served as an altar boy.  He attended PS # 4 and graduated from Memorial High School in 1986.  After graduating, he started working part time as a parking attendant at a local funeral home while attending Pace University.  Realizing his passion for helping people in their time of need, he changed his path in life.  In 1990, he completed his certification program in Mortuary Science from Mercer Community College and obtained his license to practice mortuary science in the State of NJ.  He takes great pride in helping the community in their time of need.

He is married to his wife Vienna and they have 3 beautiful children, Brandon, Derek and Mikayla.

Mario volunteers at the P.A.L. of Bergen County, where he teaches and trains as a 2nd degree black belt.  He enjoys coaching baseball and spending time with his family.
