Zoraida J. Moreno Garcia

Zoraida J. Moreno García, de 78 años, residente de West New York, Nueva Jersey, falleció en paz rodeada del amor de su familia. Nació en Condado, Trinidad, Sancti Spíritus, Cuba, hija de José Moreno y Nieves García.

Zoraida dedicó su vida a la educación, desempeñándose como maestra con una maestría en Educación. Fue una mujer de profunda vocación, compromiso y amor por sus estudiantes, dejando una huella imborrable en quienes tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla.

Le sobrevive su amado esposo, Helidoro Muñoz, con quien compartió 50 años de matrimonio lleno de amor y compañerismo. También le sobreviven sus hijos, José Muñoz, Frank Muñoz y Marta Alfonso; sus queridas nietas, Valerie Muñoz, Gisselle Fernández y Stephanie Zung; y su hermano, José Mareno.

Una Misa fúnebre se celebrará el lunes 6 de abril de 2026 a las 10:30 a.m. en la Iglesia St. Mary R.C. en West New York, Nueva Jersey. El sepelio continuará inmediatamente después en el mausoleo Flower Hill en North Bergen, Nueva Jersey.

Zoraida será recordada por su bondad, su dedicación a la familia y su pasión por la enseñanza. Su memoria vivirá por siempre en los corazones de quienes la amaron.

Zoraida J. Moreno Garcia, 78, of West New York, New Jersey, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Condado, Trinidad, Sancti Spíritus, Cuba, to her parents, José Moreno and Nieves Garcia.

Zoraida devoted her life to education, working as a teacher and earning a Master’s degree in Education. She was a woman of deep dedication, compassion, and commitment to her students, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Helidoro Muñoz; her children, Jose Muñoz, Frank Muñoz, and Marta Alfonso; her cherished granddaughters, Valerie Muñoz, Gisselle Fernandez, and Stephanie Zung; and her brother, Jose Mareno.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary R.C. Church in West New York, New Jersey. Entombment will follow at Flower Hill Mausoleum in North Bergen, New Jersey.

Zoraida will be remembered for her kindness, her devotion to family, and her passion for teaching. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
