Verica Rosado, de 94 años, residente de Guttenberg, Nueva Jersey, falleció en paz el martes 17 de marzo de 2026 en el Englewood Medical Center en Englewood, Nueva Jersey.

Nacida en Jaibón, República Dominicana, Verica fue la querida hija de Niña Rosado y Leon Jackson. Vivió una vida larga y significativa, centrada en la familia, el amor y la dedicación.

Verica fue una madre amorosa de Dulce Lugo, Frances Kreutzer e Iris Lugo. También fue una orgullosa y querida abuela de Joclin, Jesse, Khrystine y Katherine, y bisabuela de Alex, Jada, Jasmin, Aliah, Christopher, quienes le brindaron una inmensa alegría y orgullo.

Será recordada por su calidez, fortaleza y el profundo amor que compartió con su familia y amigos. Su legado vive en las muchas vidas que tocó.

La velación para familiares y amigos se llevará a cabo el jueves 19 de marzo de 2026, de 3:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m., y el viernes 20 de marzo de 2026, de 9:00 a.m. a 10:00 a.m. en la Funeraria Barquin, en Guttenberg, Nueva Jersey. Se realizará una bendición en la funeraria a las 10:00 a.m., seguida del sepelio en el Cementerio Weehawken en North Bergen, Nueva Jersey.

Verica Rosado será profundamente extrañada y recordada por siempre.

Verica Rosado, 94, of Guttenberg, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Englewood Medical Center in Englewood, New Jersey.

Born in Jaibón, Dominican Republic, Verica was the beloved daughter of Niña Rosado and Leon Jackson. She lived a long and meaningful life centered around family, love, and devotion.

Verica was a cherished mother to Dulce Lugo, Frances Kreutzer, and Iris Lugo. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to Joclin, Jesse, Christopher, Khrystine, and Katherine, and great-grandmother to Alex, Jada, Jasmin, Aliah, and Christopher, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

She will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and the deep love she shared with her family and friends. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Barquin Funeral Home, Guttenberg, New Jersey. A blessing will take place at the funeral home at 10:00 AM, followed by interment at Weehawken Cemetery in North Bergen, New Jersey.

Verica Rosado will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
