Sonia Albistur entered everlasting rest on Monday, April 10, 2023, at her residence.
Residing in Union City, NJ she was born in Camajuani, Cuba to her parents Carlos Gomez and Hildalisa Concepcion.
She is predeceased by her daughter Flora E. Albistur.
Sonia is survived by her devoted husband Rolando B. Albistur and by their beloved children Sonia M. and Joseph Albistur.
She will be remembered by her cherished grandchildren Jesse Rodriguez, John J. Longo, Joseph M. Albistur, Christopher Albistur and Sofia Albister.
Sonia also leaves behind her adored great grandchildren Jesse E. Rodriguez, Isabella Rodriguez, Guiliana A. Longo and Zachary M. Longo.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Tuesday, April 11th, 2023, 4:00 ~ 8:00 pm.
Morning Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 12th, 2023, 8:30 ~ 9:30 am at the funeral home.
Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, April 12th, 2023, 10:30 am at St. Augustine R.C Church, Union City, NJ.
Entombment following mass at Flower Hill Mausoleum, North Bergen, NJ.
