Serafina C. Menendez

Serafina C. Menendez passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 8th, 2025, at the Harborage in North Bergen, NJ.

A resident of North Bergen, NJ, she was born in La Havana, Cuba, to her parents Fernando Cortes, and Carmela Garcia.

Serafina will join her husband, Jorge E. Menendez, in heaven, who passed away in 1991.

She is survived by her loving daughter Aida Menendez Jazewback, along with her husband John, and Radames Menendez along with his wife Susana.

Serafina will be remembered by her adored grandchildren Philip Cimmino and his wife Guadalupe, Ariana Cimmino, Radames Jorge Menendez and his wife Belen, and John Paul Menendez.

She will also be cherished by her great-grandchildren Jace Cimmino, Zia Cimmino, and Mia Menendez.

Visitation for family and friends will held on Monday, February 10th from 6:00 pm -  8:00 pm

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 11th at 11:00 at St. Joseph of the Palisades R.C. Church, West New York, NJ

Entombment to follow at Flower Hill Mausoleum, North Bergen, NJ

Serafina C. Menendez falleció pacíficamente el sábado 8 de febrero de 2025 en Harborage, en North Bergen, NJ.

Residente de North Bergen, NJ, nació en La Habana, Cuba, de padres Fernando Cortes y Carmela Garcia.

Serafina se unirá a su esposo, Jorge E. Menendez, en el cielo, quien falleció en 1991.

Le sobreviven su querida hija Aida Menéndez y su esposo John, y Radames Menendez y su esposa Susana.

Serafina será recordada por sus adorados nietos Philip Cimmino y su esposa Guadalupe, Ariana Cimmino, Radames Jorge Menendez y su esposa Belen, y John Paul Menendez.

También la recordarán con cariño sus bisnietos Jace Cimmino, Zia Cimmino y Mia Menendez.

El velorio para familiares y amigos se llevará a cabo el lunes 10 de febrero de 6:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m.

La misa de funeral se celebrará el martes 11 de febrero a las 11:00 en St. Joseph of the Palisades R.C. Iglesia, West New York, Nueva Jersey.

El entierro seguirá en el mausoleo de Flower Hill, North Bergen, NJ
