Rosa Rivas

Rosa Rivas of Union City, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on April 11th, 2026, in the comfort of her own home.

Born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, Rosa was the daughter of Ana Victoria Polanco, and Rafael Valentin. She was a devoted member of the Iglesia Bautista Reformada de North Bergen.

Rosa is now reunited in eternal rest with her sister, Gladys Polanco.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Antonio Rivas, and leaves behind a legacy of love and strength through her cherished children, Ivan, Eduardo, and Stephany Rivas.

Rosa also leaves behind her loving grandchild, Rylee Antonella Rivas. 

She will be missed by her dear siblings, Dagoberto, Julio, Joaquin, and Carmelo Polanco.

Rosa will be remembered for her warmth, resilience, and the deep love she shared with those around her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 16th, 2026, from 4:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Morning visitation will be held on Friday, April 17th, 2026, from 9:00-10:00 am at the funeral home.

Interment following services will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Fairview, New Jersey, on April 17th, 2026.

Rosa Rivas, de Union City, Nueva Jersey, falleció pacíficamente el 11 de abril de 2026, en la comodidad de su propio hogar.

Nacida en Santiago, República Dominicana, Rosa era hija de Ana Victoria Polanco y Rafael Valentín. Fue una miembro devota de la Iglesia Bautista Reformada de North Bergen.

Rosa se reúne ahora en el descanso eterno con su hermana, Gladys Polanco.

Le sobreviven su amado esposo, Antonio Rivas, y deja un legado de amor y fortaleza a través de sus queridos hijos: Ivan, Eduardo y Stephany Rivas.

Rosa también deja atrás a su amada nieta, Rylee Antonella Rivas.

Será extrañada por sus queridos hermanos: Dagoberto, Julio, Joaquín y Carmelo Polanco.

Rosa será recordada por su calidez, su resiliencia y el profundo amor que compartió con quienes la rodeaban. Su recuerdo vivirá para siempre en los corazones de su familia y de todos aquellos que la conocieron.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el jueves 16 de abril de 2026, de 4:00 a 8:00 pm en la funeraria.

El velorio matutino se llevará a cabo el viernes 17 de abril de 2026, de 9:00 a 10:00 am, en la funeraria.

El sepelio, posterior a los servicios, se realizará en el Fairview Cemetery en Fairview, Nueva Jersey, el 17 de abril de 2026.
