Obituary
Robert J. Loizzo entered everlasting life on Friday, February 5, 2021 in North Bergen, New Jersey.
He was born in Brooklyn, New York to Bernard Loizzo and Edith Localio. He attended Manhattan College and completed his doctoral studies at Columbia University. He taught Political Science at Brooklyn College and St. Peter’s College and, in his later years, worked for the New York City Administration for Children’s Services.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 35 years Iraida Iturralde, their younger daughter Bibi, their older daughter Alexandra and her husband Viraj Desai, his beloved cat Tami, and his dear sister Eileen and her husband John McCarthy.
