Patricia Young

Patrica (Keating) Young passed peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by many of her loved ones, in the early hours of July 13, 2024, at the age of 85.

Patricia was born in Jersey City, NJ, graduated Snyder High School, and attended St. Peter’s University.   She lived primarily in NJ, and traveled to many states visiting family and friends.

Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Edwin J Young (married 1959), and is survived by a large and loving family, including her 5 children (and their spouses): Kathleen Gale (Andy), Karen Gale (Matty), Edwin J Young (Maureen), Joanne Osborn (Derek), and Ann-Margaret Sancho (Raymond).

Through them, she has 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren, who fondly remember and refer to her as “G-Grandma”. Patricia is also survived by her siblings, William Keating and Margaret Mary Eckert. Patricia will be missed greatly and remembered fondly.

May she rest in peace - and continue dancing with her beloved Eddie.

Visitation for family and friends will take place on Monday,  July15th, 2024 from 3 - 7pm.

Morning visitation on Tuesday, July 16th, from 9 - 10am with a Catholic Blessing at 10 am.

Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ
