Nancy Maxine Maclin was surrounded by the love of her children and grandkids when she entered eternal rest on Saturday, January 13, 2026.
Nancy was born on January 4, 1936, in Lawrenceville, Virginia, to the late Robert Wilkins and Sarah Smith Wilkins.
She had 7 siblings, Nathalene Wright, Early Wilkins, Mattie Lampkin, Emmett Wilkins, Betty Jones, Gloria Pulley, and Norfleet Wilkins, all preceded her in death.
Nancy was raised and educated in Brunswick County, VA. She attended James Solomn Russell School and St. Paul's College. Here she made lifelong friends, such as Lorraine and Corrine Thomas, Dorothy Mae Trotter, and Margaret Lewis (RIP).
She married Charles Maclin and gave birth to Keith, Aubrey, and Ina. Nancy was raised with many family values. While raising her family, she often would have outings with her siblings and their families on Thanksgivings, Easter Sundays, birthdays, and gatherings for no particular reason, creating a strong family bond.
Nancy worked as an x-ray technician for over 40 years and retired from St. Michael's Medical Center in Newark NJ, at the age of 75.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children, Keith Maclin, Charles Aubrey Maclin, and Ina Maclin.
Her legacy continues through her beloved grandchildren, Ashley Maclin, Lindsay Robinson, Justin Maclin, and Andrea Maclin, and her precious great-grandson, Leighton Robinson.
Cousins Louise Malloy and Bunny Coleman have been constant figures in her life, along with 6 nieces, 5 nephews, and a host of friends and extended family.
Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
