Mirta V. Fonteboa Obituary

Mirta V. Fonteboa entered eternal rest at her home in West New York, NJ, on Saturday, January 11th, 2025.


A long-time resident of West New York, NJ, she was born in La Habana, Cuba to her parents Mirta Fonteboa and Pedro Fonteboa. Emigrated to the United States at a young age with her parents and sister. Essex County College & Union Hill High School Alumni.


Retired as long standing employee of Casa Manito in West New York, NJ as a Social Worker.  She helped all in the community and always gave it her all.


She is survived by her loving sons, Peter Steven Magran, Marvin Fleitas, Howard Fleitas, along with her cherished grandson Michael Genius Magran, and daughter-in-law Reina D. Ortega.


Mirta will also be remembered by her dear sister, Alina Fonteboa, and her niece Marilyn Saavedra.


Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, January 14th, 2025, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home.


Morning Visitation on Wednesday, January 15th from 9:00 am – 10:00 am.


Interment to follow at Grove Church Cemetery, North Bergen, NJ.
