Mercedes Carmona

Mercedes Carmona falleció el viernes 10 de octubre de 2025 en el Centro Médico Palisades de North Bergen, Nueva Jersey.

Residente de West New York, Nueva Jersey, nació en Cabaiguán, Las Villa, Sancti Spiritus, Cuba, hija de los difuntos Leopoldina Iquierdo y José Carmona.

A Mercedes le sobreviven sus queridos hijos: Alberto Acosta y su esposa Gisela Medel; y Milagros Acosta y su esposo John Uzatmaciyan.

También será recordada por su nieto C.J. Acosta y su esposa Alexandra.

El velorio para familiares y amigos se llevará a cabo el lunes 13 de octubre de 2025, de 6:00 pm a 8:00 pm, en la funeraria.

El velorio matutino será el martes 14 de octubre de 2025, de 9:00am a 10:00 am, en la funeraria.

El entierro se realizará en el cementerio Hoboken, North Bergen, Nueva Jersey.

Mercedes Carmona entered eternal peace on Friday, October 10th, 2025, at Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen,  NJ.

A resident of West New York, NJ, she was born in Cabaiguán, Las Villa, Sancti Spiritus, Cuba to her parents, the late Leopoldina Iquierdo and Jose Carmona.

Mercedes is survived by her loving children, Alberto Acosta, along with his wife Gisela Medel, and Milagros Acosta, along with her husband John Uzatmaciyan.

She will also be remembered by her grandson, C.J. Acosta, along with his wife, Alexandra.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Morning visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Interment to follow at Hoboken Cemetery, North Bergen, NJ.
