In Loving Memory of Marina Hernandez

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Marina Hernandez, who peacefully entered everlasting rest on Friday, December 6th, 2024, at Christ Hospital in Jersey City, NJ.

A beloved resident of North Bergen, NJ, Marina was born in San Miguel, El Salvador. She was the cherished wife of Benjamin Hernandez and devoted mother to Benjamin Hernandez Jr., his wife Kassandra, as well as to her daughter Christina, her husband Jorge, and grandson Juan. 

She is also survived by her mother, Ernestina, and her siblings, William, Juan, Esperanza, Ana, Roxana, and Damaris, who will all miss her deeply.

Visitation will be held for family and friends on Friday, December 13th, 2024, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Morning visitation will take place on Saturday, December 14th, 2024, from 9:00 to 10:00 am, also at the funeral home.

A service and interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

Marina’s heart overflowed with love for her family and her memory will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Es con profundo pesar que anunciamos el fallecimiento de Marina Hernández, quien entró en descanso eterno el Viernes 6 de Diciembre de 2024, en el Hospital Christ de Jersey City, NJ.

Residente querida de North Bergen, NJ, Marina nació en San Miguel, El Salvador. Fue la amada esposa de Benjamin Hernández y la devota madre de Benjamin Hernández Jr., su esposa Kassandra, así como de su hija Christina, su esposo Jorge y su nieto Juan.

También le sobreviven su madre, Ernestina, y sus hermanos William, Juan, Esperanza, Ana, Roxana y Damaris, quienes la extrañarán profundamente.

El velorio será para familiares y amigos el Viernes 13 de Diciembre de 2024, de 4:00 pm a 8:00 pm en la funeraria.

El entierro se llevará a cabo el Sábado 14 de Diciembre de 2024, de 9:00 am a 10:00 am, también en la funeraria.

Posteriormente, se celebrará un servicio e intermento en el Fairview Cemetery. 

El corazón de Marina rebosaba de amor por su familia, y su memoria será siempre apreciada por todos aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla.
