Maria Quintanilla, a deeply loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 25, 2026, at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Born in Fomento, Cuba, Maria was the beloved daughter of Jose Ortega and Teresa Francisco. She carried with her the warmth, strength, and traditions of her Cuban roots throughout her life.

Maria was a talented beautician by trade who touched many lives not only through her work but through her kindness, compassion, and generous spirit. She was also a woman of deep faith whose love for God guided her throughout her life.

Maria was predeceased by her loving husband, Marcos Quintanilla, who passed away in 2018. Together, they built a beautiful family rooted in love, faith, and devotion.

She leaves behind her cherished children, Marcos Quintanilla and Iliana Rodriguez, and her husband, Alberto.

Maria was the proud and adored grandmother of Adalyn Rodriguez, Mailyn Gonzalez, Alberto Rodriguez, Natalie Padovano, and Melanie Quintanilla. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly: Alianny, Liana, Gavin, Alberto, Julian, Esmeralda, Isabella, Alexander, Branden, and Victoria.

Maria is also survived by her beloved sister, Orbelia Molina, along with many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Maria will be remembered for her loving heart, unwavering faith, gentle spirit, and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her. Her family was her greatest pride, and her love and guidance will continue to live on through them.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Morning visitation will take place on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Fairview, New Jersey.

Maria Quintanilla, una madre, abuela, bisabuela, hermana y amiga profundamente amada, falleció en paz el lunes 25 de mayo de 2026 en el Hackensack University Medical Center en Hackensack, Nueva Jersey.

Nacida en Fomento, Cuba, María fue la querida hija de José Ortega y Teresa Francisco. Llevó consigo durante toda su vida la calidez, fortaleza y tradiciones de sus raíces cubanas.

María fue una talentosa estilista de profesión que tocó la vida de muchas personas no solo a través de su trabajo, sino también por su bondad, compasión y espíritu generoso. También fue una mujer de profunda fe cuyo amor por Dios guió su vida en todo momento.

María fue precedida en la muerte por su amado esposo, Marcos Quintanilla, quien falleció en el año 2018. Juntos construyeron una hermosa familia basada en el amor, la fe y la devoción.

Deja atrás a sus queridos hijos, Marcos Quintanilla e Iliana Rodríguez y su esposo, Alberto.

María fue la orgullosa y adorada abuela de Adalyn Rodríguez, Mailyn González, Alberto Rodríguez, Natalie Padovano y Melanie Quintanilla. También fue bendecida con bisnietos a quienes amó profundamente: Alianny, Liana, Gavin, Alberto, Julián, Esmeralda, Isabella, Alexander, Branden y Victoria.

María también deja a su querida hermana, Orbelia Molina, junto con muchos sobrinos, sobrinas, familiares y amigos queridos que conservarán para siempre su memoria en sus corazones.

María será recordada por su corazón amoroso, su fe inquebrantable, su espíritu amable y la alegría que brindó a todos los que la conocieron. Su familia fue su mayor orgullo, y su amor y guía continuarán viviendo a través de ellos.

La visita para familiares y amigos se llevará a cabo el miércoles 27 de mayo de 2026, de 4:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. en la funeraria. La visita matutina tendrá lugar el jueves 28 de mayo de 2026, de 9:00 a.m. a 10:00 a.m. en la funeraria. El sepelio se realizará posteriormente en el Cementerio Fairview en Fairview, Nueva Jersey.

Maria Quintanilla será profundamente extrañada y eternamente amada.
