It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Luisa Diaz, a beloved mother and grandmother who passed away on Saturday, October 18th,
2025, at Hackensack Medical Center in Hackensack, NJ.
A resident of Fort Lee, NJ, she was born in Havana, Cuba, to her parents, Enrique Chirino and Adolfina Torres.
Maria lived a full and beautiful life defined by love, kindness, and devotion to her family.
Maria is predeceased by her husband, Adolfo Diaz, who passed away in 1991.
She is survived by her loving children, Miriam Gutierrez, Adolfo Diaz, and Alexe Diaz.
She will be remembered by her adored grandchildren, Christian, Omar, Ethan, Jack, and Natalie.
Maria leaves behind her dear siblings in Cuba, Carlos, Olga, and Machito.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Morning visitation will be on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 9:00 - 10:00 am at the funeral home.
Entombment to be announced.

Centro Médico Hackensack de Hackensack, Nueva Jersey.
Residente de Fort Lee, Nueva Jersey, nació en La Habana, Cuba, hija de Enrique Chirino y Adilfina Torres.
María vivió una vida plena y hermosa, caracterizada por el amor, la bondad y la devoción a su familia.
Le precedió en la muerte su esposo, Adolfo Díaz, quien falleció en 1991.
Le sobreviven sus queridos hijos: Miriam Gutiérrez, Adolfo Díaz y Alexe Díaz.
La recordarán sus adorados nietos: Christian, Omar, Ethan, Jack y Natalie.
María deja atrás a sus queridos hermanos en Cuba: Carlos, Olga y Machito.
El velatorio para familiares y amigos se realizará el martes 21 de octubre de 2025, de 400 a 8:00 pm, en la funeraria.
El velatorio matutino será el miércoles 22 de octubre de 2025, de 9:00 a 10:00 a. m. en la funeraria.
El entierro se anunciará próximamente.
