Luz Janet Montaño falleció el viernes 6 de junio de 2025 en el Centro Médico de la Universidad de Hackensack, en Hackensack, Nueva Jersey.

Residente de Little Ferry, Nueva Jersey, nació en Medellín, Colombia, hija de María Lucila y Jesús Darío Montaño.

A Luz Janet le sobreviven su devoto esposo, Albeiro Medina, y sus queridas hijas, Dulfary Amador y su esposo, Álvaro, y Jessica Pérez y su esposo, Annier.

Sus adorados nietos, Jared Sebastián Amador, Valerie Amador, Emily Amador, Matthew Pérez y Lucas Pérez, la recordarán.

Sus hermanos, Edwin Alberto Montaño y Lilibeth Montaño, la extrañarán profundamente.

El velatorio para familiares y amigos será el martes 10 de junio de 2025, de 8:30 a 10:30 a.m., en la funeraria.

Se ofrecerá una misa funeral católica el martes a las 11:00 a.m. en la iglesia católica St. Jospeh of the Palisade, West New York, NJ.

Luz Janet Montaño entered eternal peace on Friday, June 6th, 2025, at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, NJ.

A resident of Little Ferry, NJ, she was born in Medellin, Colombia to her parents Maria Lucila and Jesus Dario Montaño.

Luz Janet is survived by her devoted husband Albeiro Medina and their loving daughters, Dulfary Amador along with her husband, Alvaro,  and Jessica Perez along with her husband Annier.

She will be remembered by her adored grandchildren Jared Sebastian Amador, Valerie Amador, Emily Amador, Matthew Perez and Lucas Perez.

She will be dearly missed by her siblings Edwin Alberto Montaño and Lilibeth Montaño.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, June 10th, 2025, from 8:30 – 10:30 am at the funeral home.

A Catholic Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, 11: 00 am at St. Jospeh of the Palisade R.C. Church, West New York, NJ.
