Luz C. (Almodovar) Batista

Luz C. ( Almodovar) Batista entered eternal rest on Friday, November 15th, 2019, at Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack, NJ.

She was born in La Romana, Dominican Republic, to her late parents Marcelino Almodovar and Carmen Rivera.

Luz is survived by her devoted spouse, Roselio Batista, and her loving children, Ramon, Cristina, Ana, Luz, and Jesus.

She is also remembered by her cherished  grandchildren, Rosely, Katherine and her husband Ender, Luz and her husband Christopher, Yamil, Anthony, Kimberly, Manuel Alexander, Jeiny, Cristina, Cynthia, Kiara, and Belyssa, as well as her  great grandchildren Ryan, Eliana, Sebastian, and Elias.

She also leaves behind her dear siblings Jose, Thelma, and Cristina Almodovar.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, November 18th from 5 – 9 pm at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, November 19th, 10:00 am at St. Augustine R.C. Church, Union City, NJ.

Interment to follow Funeral Mass at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, NJ.
