Luis Antonio Romo Gutiérrez, de 72 años, residente de West New York, Nueva Jersey, falleció en paz, rodeado de su querida familia, el martes 14 de abril de 2026.
Nació en Callao, Perú, hijo de sus padres, Antonio Romo y Bernardina Gutiérrez Tacza. Siempre llevó con orgullo sus raíces y construyó una vida basada en el amor familiar, la fortaleza y la unión.
Le sobreviven sus amados hijos, Alessandro y Madeleine Romo; sus queridos nietos, Aviv y Matan Romo; y sus hermanos, Hugo, Héctor y Jaime Romo. Luis será recordado por su bondad, su dedicación a su familia y el cariño que brindó a todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.
Las visitas para familiares y amigos se llevarán a cabo el lunes 20 de abril de 2026 de 4:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m., y el martes 21 de abril de 2026 de 9:30 a.m. a 10:30 a.m. en Barquin Funeral Home, Guttenberg, NJ.
La misa fúnebre católica se celebrará el martes 21 de abril de 2026 a las 11:00 a.m. en la iglesia St. Joseph of the Palisades R.C. Church en West New York, NJ, seguida del sepelio en el Cementerio Arlington en Kearny, NJ.
Luis será profundamente extrañado y siempre recordado en los corazones de su familia y amigos.
Luis Antonio Romo Gutierrez, 72, of West New York, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
Luis was born in Callao, Peru, to his late parents, Antonio Romo and Bernardina Gutierrez Tacza. He carried his heritage with pride and built a life centered on family, warmth, and quiet strength.
He is survived by his devoted children, Alessandro and Madeleine Romo; his cherished grandchildren, Aviv and Matan Romo; and his beloved brothers, Hugo, Hector, and Jaime Romo. Luis will be remembered for his kindness, dedication to his family, and the love he shared with all who knew him.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Barquin Funeral Home, Guttenberg, NJ.
A Catholic Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph of the Palisades R.C. Church in West New York, NJ, followed by interment at Arlington Cemetery in Kearny, NJ.
Luis will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of his family and friends.
