Residing in West New York, NJ, he was born in Porto Viejo, Ecuador, to his parents, Pablo Antonio Delgado Penafiel and Herminia Macias.

He is predeceased by his granddaughter Kaylani Soto Delgado, and by his dear siblings Cesar Antonio Delgado Macias, Emma Toala Macias, Oscar Efren Yepez Macias, Modesta Azucena Delgado Macias, Marcos Aquiles Yepez Macias.

Jose is survived by his beloved children Hugo S. Sanchez Arias, Sergio A. Sanchez Arias, Pablo Martin Delgado Correa, Jose Antonio Delgado Correa, Matty Delgado Cruz, Jose Antonio Delgado Cruz, Jenny Griscelda Delgado Cruz, Angelica Calligy Delgado, Martha Leonor Delgado Arias, Lenny Patricia Delgado, Jose Leonardo Delgado, and Francisco Gabriel Delgado Munoz.

He will be remembered by his cherished grandchildren Alyssa Nicole Sanchez, Olivia Rose Sanchez, Michael Alexander Sanchez, Samantha Marie Sanchez, Anthony Delgado, Bryan Delgado, Cinthia A. Delgado Cruz, Christian Delgado Cruz, Eder Farid Abad Delgado, Joseph Alexander Oliveros Delgado, Vincent Anthony Delgado, Nicholas Jose Delgado, Jairon Dario Gomez Delgado, Joselin Griselda Robles Delgado, Bryan Remigo Robles Delgado, Devin James Calligy, Devon Michael Calligy, Kayla Maria Calligy, Xavier Alexander Delgado, Ryu Jose Soto, Ashley Natasha Delgado, Emily Valentina Cuenca, Adriana Nicole Pelozo, Francisco Gabriel Delgado Munoz, Carlain Gabriela Delgado Alava, Jhosue Gabriel Delgado Alava. 

Jose also leaves behind his dear brother, Raul Antonio Delgado Macias, and all his beloved daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, and great-grandchildren.

Visitation for friends and family will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 3:00 ~ 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
