Johnny A. Lara Obituary

Johnny A. Lara entered everlasting rest on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. 


A current resident of Houston TX, and a lifelong resident of  West New York, NJ,  he was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, to his parents Emma J. (Gutierrez) and Marcelino A. Lara.


Johnny proudly served his community of West New York, NJ as a police officer before he retired and moved to Houston.


He is joining his father, Marcelino and his brother Henry Lara, in the heavenly kingdom.


Johnny is survived by his beloved wife, Cindy Valderramos Lara and their loving children Brandon, Bella and Jeremy Lara.


He also leaves behind his dear mother, Emma J. Lara, and his siblings, Rosario Crabtree,  Jimmy and Sammy Lara.


Visitaion for family and friends will be held on Friday, September 13th, 2024 from 4 - 8 pm.


Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, September 14th, from 9 - 10am.


Interment to follow at Flower Hill Cemetery, North Bergen, NJ.
