Jaime Eduardo Ortiz Jr. entered eternal peace on Friday, March 28th, 2025, at University Hospital in Newark, NJ.

A resident of West New York, NJ, he was born in Bogota, Colombia, to his parents, Jaime Eduardo Ortiz Sr., and Blanca Tellez.

Jaime honorably served in the Marine Corps from 1974 to 1980, displaying unwavering courage and commitment.

He is survived by his loving sister, Yolanda Ortiz, and his adored God Children, Melinda George, Tania Y. Lopez-Rivera, Alexandra R. Rebuquiao, Mark R. George, and Michael K. George.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Jaime's life will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 5th, 2025, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.

A Catholic Blessing will be offered at 2:30 pm, and The U.S. Marines will honor Jaime with Military Honors at 3:30 pm.

Jaime Eduardo Ortiz Jr. falleció el viernes 28 de marzo de 2025 en el Hospital Universitario de Newark, Nueva Jersey.

Residente de West New York, Nueva Jersey, el nació en Bogotá, Colombia, hijo de Jaime Eduardo Ortiz Sr. y Blanca Téllez.

Jaime sirvió con honor en la Infantería de Marina de 1974 a 1980, demostrando un coraje y un compromiso inquebrantables.

A el le sobreviven su querida hermana, Yolanda Ortiz, y sus adorados ahijados: Melinda George, Tania Y. López-Rivera, Alexandra R. Rebuquiao, Mark R. George y Michael K. George.

Se celebrará un servicio conmemorativo en honor a Jaime el sábado 5 de abril de 2025, de 12:00 a 16:00 h, en la funeraria.
