Jacinto Nicolas Gomez Ayong, surrounded by his loved ones, entered heavenly peace on Thursday, September 25th, 2025, at his residence.
A resident of Union City, NJ, he was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, to his parents, Jacinto Gomez and Paulina Ayong Chong.
Jacinto is predeceased by his sons, Jose Gomez, and Walter Jacinto (Lucho) Gomez Leon, his great-grandchild, Lyanna Cabrera Gomez, his great-great-grandchild, Malakai Ethan Quijano Gonzalez, and his siblings Angel Gomez, Alfredo Gomez, Jose (Pepe) Gomez, and Roberto Maldonado.
He is survived by his beloved wife Ana Julia and their loving children Gustavo Gomez Leon, Yvonne Johanna Balseca Gomez, and Sergio Dario Gomez.
He will be remembered by his adored grandchildren, Daniel, Roberto, Dario, Carlos, Gina, Karen, Adriana, Asli Johanna, Ana Sophia, and Keilani, along with his great-grandchildren Adrian, Gabriela, Valerie, Jessica, Kairi, Kamila, Callie, and Adalia Ember, and his great-great-grandchild Angelo Ezra.
He leaves behind his dear siblings Kiko Gomez, Amarilis Gomez, Margarita Gomez, Teresa Gomez, Charo Gomez, Rodolfo Gomez, Sonia Balanzategui, and Ricardo Maldonado.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, September 30th, 2025, from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Morning visitation will be on October 1, 2025, from 9:00-10:00 am a the funeral home.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Mary's R.C. Church in West New York, NJ, at 11:00 am.
Interment to follow at Flower Hill Cemetery in North Bergen, NJ.

El velatorio para familiares y amigos será el martes 30 de septiembre de 2025, de 4:00 a 8:00 pm, en la funeraria.
El velatorio matutino será el 1 de octubre de 2025 de 9:00 a 10:00 am en la funeraria.
Se ofrecerá una misa funeral en la Iglesia Católica Romana de San Mary's en West New York, Nueva Jersey, a las 11:00 am.
El entierro se realizará a continuación en el Cementerio Flower Hill en North Bergen, Nueva Jersey.
