Israel Rodriguez

Israel Rodriguez, Sr., surrounded by his family, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at his home.

Israel was born in El Cobre, Oriente, Cuba to his parents Luz (Velez) and Norberto Rodriguez. He lived in West New York, NJ since 1968 before moving to Penn Hills in 2015.

He is pre-deceased by his wife Dolores who passed away in April of 2017.

Israel is survived by his loving family, his sons, Israel Rodriguez Jr.,  Jake Rodriguez and his daughter Lenia Sague.

His cherished grandchildren, Mayor Gabriel Rodriguez, J’Aimee Rodriguez Greenlaw, Miguel Sague, Jr., Adriana Rodriguez and Daniel Rodriguez.

He also leaves behind his great grandchildren, Nicholas Nuñez, Isabella, Dylan and Jackson Rodriguez, Margaret and Colin Greenlaw and his siblings, Benjamin, Eliseo, Raquel and Lidia

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 30th from 2 – 9 PM.

Funeral Services will take place on Friday, January 31st, 10 am at the funeral home.
