Ida Guerrero Obituary
Ida Guerrero, 86, died peacefully on Sunday, Oct 20, 2024, with her children by her side.
A resident of North Bergen NJ, she was born in Havana, Cuba to her parents, Bienvenido Nunez and Amelia Acosta.
Ida was predeceased by her adoring husband and dancing partner, Jorge, and is survived by her loving children and spouses, Jorge (wife, Dora) and Maribel (Partner, Maria), her grandchildren Michelle Waldorf (husband, Rob), Christina Manoy (husband, Nick), great-grandchildren, Adriana, Dylan, Nicholas, and Sofia. She is also survived by her brother, Armando Nunez (wife/daughter/son, Aida, Amanda, Heriberto) amongst other family in Cuba and Florida.
Ida’s family, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren brought her immeasurable joy and were the light of her life. Ida lit up every room she entered with her warm and genuine smile, which was her way of communicating in any language. She was kind and generous to a fault, not only with her family and friends, but also strangers. She will be incredibly missed by those that knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a charitable donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, a charity that was close to Ida’s heart, and/or the Alzheimer’s Association.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, Oct 23, 2024, from 5:30-8:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held privately.
