In Loving Memory of Hugo Nova

Hugo Nova passed away on June 29, 2026, at Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen, New Jersey.

Born in Jamaica, Queens, New York, Hugo was the cherished son of Silvia Roldan. Throughout his life, he was known for his strength of character and the kindness he extended to everyone around him. He treasured the time he spent with his loved ones and created lasting memories that will remain in their hearts forever.

Hugo leaves behind his beloved companion, Amalah Ogburn, and his cherished son, Tyi Magnus Nova.

He is also survived by his loving siblings, Graciela Gonzalez, Helena Salas, and Mark Salas; his beloved niece, Luna Alcantara; and his grandfather, Julio Roldan. He was preceded in death by his sister, Julissa Romero.

Hugo will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

May Hugo rest in eternal peace. Though he is no longer with us, his love, strength, and memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
