Hortensia Kelly

Hortensia Kelly entered everlasting rest on Saturday, March 27th, 2021 at her residence.

Of Newark, NJ she was born in Camaguey, Cuba to her parents Felip Nathaniel Roberts and Adelina (Bryant).

She is a college graduate and dedicated her career as a teacher.

Hortensia is survived by her devoted husband Jorge Kelly and by their loving children, Jorge Kelly and Hortensia Kelly.

She also leaves behind her adored grandchildren, Connor Sweeney, Sarah Sweeney, Nataniel Sweeney, Julian Kelly, Christopher Kelly, Samantha Kelly and Ryan Kelly and her dear sister Norma Milanes.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 6:00 ~ 9:00 pm, at The Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Newark, NJ.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, March 31, 2021 9:00 am at the church.

Interment to follow funeral service at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
