With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Hilda Lucia Suarez, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at her residence.

Born in Havana, Cuba, Hilda was the cherished daughter of Virginio Silva and Herminia Margot Valderrama. She later made her home in West New York, building a life centered on faith and family.

Hilda shared a beautiful and enduring love story with her beloved husband, Roberto Suarez. Married for 65 years, their union was a testament to commitment, partnership, and unwavering devotion. Together they built a loving family and a home filled with warmth and tradition.

She was a proud and devoted mother to her daughters, Lucia Suarez and Diane Suarez, and her husband, Richard.

Her greatest joy was her family, and she embraced her role as grandmother with boundless love.

She leaves behind her treasured grandchildren: Arianna Lucia Suarez, David Robert Novohradsky, and Isabella Diane Novohradsky. Each of them was a bright light in her life.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's R.C. Church in West New York, NJ.

Though she will be deeply missed, the love Hilda shared so generously will remain forever.

Nacida en La Habana, Cuba, Hilda fue la querida hija de Virginio Silva y Herminia Margot Valderrama. Más tarde estableció su hogar en West New York, donde construyó una vida centrada en la fe y la familia.

Hilda compartió una hermosa y duradera historia de amor con su amado esposo, Roberto Suarez. Casados durante 65 años, su unión fue un testimonio de compromiso, compañerismo y devoción inquebrantable. Juntos formaron una familia amorosa y un hogar lleno de calidez y tradición.

Fue una madre orgullosa y dedicada a sus hijas, Lucía Suárez y Diane Suárez, y a su yerno, Richard.
