Hector Manuel Martinez

Hector Manuel Martinez passed away on January 31, 2026, at Jersey City Medical Center. He was born in Coamo, Puerto Rico, to his mother, Francisca Martinez.

Hector is preceded in death by his son, Hector Manuel Matrinez Jr.

He was the father of Hector Enrique Martinez, his wife, Lori, Linda Martinez, Wanda Smith, and Hector Luis Martinez, and his companion of 17 years, Yvonne. 

He was the grandfather of Joel, Janele, Christopher, Jonathan, Natasha, Nicole, Elijah, Rafaela, Barbara, Jessica, and Tito, and the great-grandfather of Aliana, Tatiana, Mason, Ezra, Luna, Dezire, Jordan, Jacob, Remi, and Ezekiel.

He is survived by his siblings Carmen, David, Antonio, Alex, Nancy, Silvia, Heriberto, and Betsy.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

 Morning visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

 Interment will follow at Clinton Cemetery in Livingston, New Jersey.

Héctor Manuel Martínez falleció el 31 de enero de 2026 en el Jersey City Medical Center. Nació en Coamo, Puerto Rico, hijo de su madre, Francisca Martínez.

Héctor es precedido en muerte por su hijo, Héctor Manuel Martínez Jr.

Él fue padre de Héctor Enrique Martínez y su esposa Lori, Linda Martínez, Wanda Smith y Héctor Luis Martínez y su cmpañare de 17 años Yvonne. 

Fue abuelo de Joel, Janele, Christopher, Jonathan, Natasha, Nicole, Elijah, Rafaela, Barbara, Jessica y Tito, y bisabuelo de Aliana, Tatiana, Mason, Ezra, Luna, Dezire, Jordan, Jacob, Remi y Ezekiel. 

Le sobreviven sus hermanos Carmen, David, Antonio, Alex, Nancy, Silvia, Heriberto y Betsy.

La velación para familiares y amigos se llevará a cabo el domingo 8 de febrero de 2026, de 2:00 p.m. a 6:00 p.m., en la funeraria.

La velación por la mañana será de 9:00 a.m. a 10:00 a.m., en la funeraria.

El sepelio se realizará posteriormente en el Cementerio de Clinton, en Livingston, Nueva Jersey.
