Guillermina Rodríguez falleció pacíficamente el viernes 9 de enero de 2026, rodeada del cariño de sus seres queridos. Mujer de fortaleza y dedicación, vivió una larga vida dedicada a su familia, al trabajo y a su comunidad.
Nació en Pinar del Río, Cuba, hija de Luciano Velázquez y Julia Castillo.
Le precedieron en la muerte su amado esposo, Emerio Rodríguez, con quien compartió muchos años de matrimonio, y su querido nieto, Miguel Letourneaut.
Guillermina fue una madre devota, una abuela orgullosa y una hermana cariñosa. Su familia era el centro de su vida.
Le sobreviven sus amados hijos, Rafael Rodríguez, María Luisa Letourneaut y Deysi Moro, y su esposo, Camilo.
Deja atrás a sus adorados nietos, Christine Moro Pimentel, Crystal Rodríguez, Michelle Hernández, Amanda Rodríguez, Melissa Pérez, Jennifer Letourneaut, y a sus adorados bisnietos, Julian, Cristian, Lily, Adrian, Sebastian, Miguel José, además de su tataranieto Miguel “Junji”.
Sus hermanos, Humberto Velázquez, Irene García, Hayde Velázquez, Carlos Velázquez, Alicia Velázquez y Andrea Velázquez, la extrañarán profundamente.
Durante muchos años, Guillermina fue propietaria de una tintorería, donde era conocida por su gran ética de trabajo, su confiabilidad y su trato personal. Se enorgullecía de su trabajo y de servir a sus clientes.
Su legado perdura a través de la familia que formó, los valores que transmitió y las innumerables vidas que tocó.
El velorio para familiares y amigos se llevará a cabo el lunes 12 de enero de 2026, de 4:00 a 8:00 p. m. en la funeraria.
El velorio matutino será en la funeraria de 9:00 a 10:00 a. m.
Una bendición religiosa comenzará a las 10:00 a. m.
El sepelio se realizará posteriormente en el Cementerio Grove Church en North Bergen, Nueva Jersey.
Guillermina Rodriguez passed away peacefully on Friday, January 9, 2026, surrounded by love. A woman of strength, and dedication, she lived a long life rooted in family, hard work, and community.
She was born in Pinar del Rio, Cuba, to her parents Luciano Velazquez and Julia Castillo.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Emerio Rodriguez, with whom she shared many years of marriage. Together, they built a beautiful life and her cherished grandson, Miguel Letourneaut.
Guillermina was a devoted mother, a proud grandmother, and a caring sister. Her family was the heart of her life.
She is survived by her loving children, Rafael Rodriguez, Maria Luisa Letourneaut, and Deysi Moro, and her husband, Camilo.
She leaves behind her adored grandchildren, Christine Moro Pimentel, Crystal Rodriguez, Michelle Hernandez, Amanda Rodriguez, Melissa Perez, Jennifer Letourneaut, and her adored great-grandchildren, Julian, Cristian, Lily, Adrian, Sebastian, Miguel Jose, along with great-great-grandson Miguel “Junji.
Her siblings, Humberto Velazquez, Irene Garcia, Hayde Velazquez, Carlos Velazquez, Alicia Velazquez, and Andrea Velazquez, will miss her deeply.
For many years, Guillermina was the proprietor of a dry-cleaning business, where she was known for her strong work ethic, reliability, and personal touch. She took pride in her work and in serving her customers.
Her legacy lives on through the family she nurtured, the values she passed down, and the countless lives she touched.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, January 12th, 2026, from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Morning visitation will be at the funeral from 9:00 – 10:00 am.
A Religious Blessing will begin at 10:00 am.
Interment to follow at Grove Church Cemetery in North Bergen, NJ.
