Con profundo pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de Estrella Pérez, quien partió en paz el domingo, 12 de julio de 2026, en Harborage Nursing Center, North Bergen, Nueva Jersey.

Estrella nació en Pinar del Río, Cuba, hija de sus queridos padres, Petrona Cabrera y Jesús López. Dedicó gran parte de su vida a la educación como maestra en Cuba, dejando una huella imborrable en la vida de muchos de sus estudiantes. En años posteriores, estableció su hogar en West New York, Nueva Jersey, donde fue apreciada por su bondad, fortaleza y amor por su familia.

Ahora se reúne en el Reino de los Cielos con su amado esposo, José Antonio Pérez, quien falleció en 2023, y con su querido hijo, José A. Pérez, quien falleció en 2020.

Estrella deja para honrar y preservar su memoria a su querida nuera, Juana Pérez, y a sus adorados nietos, Dale, Dustin y Daniel Pérez, quienes siempre llevarán en el corazón su amor y sus enseñanzas.

La familia recibirá a sus familiares y amigos para rendirle el último homenaje el miércoles, 15 de julio de 2026, de 9:00 a.m. a 11:00 a.m., en Barquin Funeral Home.

El sepelio continuará con el entierro en mausoleo (entombment) en el Fairview Mausoleum, Fairview, Nueva Jersey.

La familia agradece las muestras de cariño, apoyo y oraciones recibidas durante este difícil momento. Que descanse en la paz eterna.

 

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Estrella Perez, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Harborage Nursing Center in North Bergen, New Jersey.

Estrella was born in Pinar del Río, Cuba, to her loving parents, Petrona Cabrera and Jesus Lopez. She devoted much of her life to education as a teacher in Cuba, touching the lives of countless students with her knowledge, kindness, and dedication. She later made her home in West New York, New Jersey, where she was cherished for her warmth, strength, and unwavering love for her family.

She is now reunited in the Kingdom of Heaven with her beloved husband, Jose Antonio Perez, who passed away in 2023, and her loving son, Jose A. Perez, who passed away in 2020.

Estrella leaves behind her devoted daughter-in-law, Juana Perez, and her cherished grandsons, Dale, Dustin, and Daniel Perez, who will forever treasure her love, wisdom, and beautiful memory.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Barquin Funeral Home.

Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum, Fairview, New Jersey.
