Enrique Gomez

Surrounded by his loving family, Enrique Gomez passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4, 2026.

A longtime resident of North Bergen, New Jersey, Enrique was born in Puerto Padre, Cuba, to his parents, Maria Josefa Ripoll and Enrique Gomez. He is reunited in the Heavenly Kingdom with his beloved son, Enrique Gomez, and his sister Raquel Gomez.

Enrique leaves behind his devoted wife, Orlaida Gomez, and their loving son, Frank Gomez. He will also be fondly remembered by his cherished grandchildren, Lucas, Loraine, and Yosi Gomez, as well as by many family members and friends whose lives he touched.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Morning visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph of the Palisades R.C. Church in West New York, New Jersey.

Enrique will be remembered for his love of family, his kindness, and the legacy of devotion he leaves behind.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Enrique’s memory to St. Joseph of the Palisades R.C. Church, West New York, New Jersey.

Residente de muchos años de North Bergen, Nueva Jersey, Enrique nació en Puerto Padre, Cuba, hijo de sus padres María Josefa Ripoll y Enrique Gómez. Se reúne en el Reino Celestial con su amado hijo, Enrique Gómez y su hermana Raquel Gomez. 

Enrique deja a su querida esposa, Orlaida Gómez, y a su amado hijo, Frank Gómez. Será recordado con cariño por sus apreciados nietos Lucas, Loraine y Yosi Gómez, así como por los numerosos familiares y amigos cuyas vidas tocó.

La velación para familiares y amigos se llevará a cabo el martes 6 de enero de 2026, de 4:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m., en la funeraria.

La velación matutina será el miércoles 7 de enero de 2026, de 9:30 a 10:30 a.m., seguida de la Misa Funeral a las 11:00 a.m. en la Iglesia St. Joseph of the Palisades R.C., en West New York, Nueva Jersey.

Enrique será recordado por su amor a la familia, su bondad y el legado de devoción que deja.
