Egbertina A. Solis

Con profunda tristeza y con el corazón lleno de dolor, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Egbertina Solis, quien pasó a la vida eterna el martes, 25 de agosto de 2026, en la comodidad y paz de su hogar.

Residente de Weehawken, Nueva Jersey, durante muchos años, Egbertina nació en Santiago, República Dominicana, hija de los fallecidos Juana Ramona Domínguez y Francisco Antonio Inoa. Desde el comienzo de su vida, fue bendecida con un corazón bondadoso, un espíritu hermoso y una calidez que tocó las vidas de todos aquellos que tuvieron la dicha de conocerla.

Egbertina fue una esposa, madre, abuela, hermana y amiga dedicada. Ahora podrá reunirse nuevamente en el cielo con su amado esposo, Gregorio Solís.

Su mayor alegría siempre fue su familia. Dedicó su vida a las personas que amaba, poniendo siempre a sus hijos y nietos por encima de todo. Fue una mujer que amó profundamente, dio generosamente y trabajó incansablemente para cuidar y brindarles lo mejor a quienes la rodeaban. También fue una talentosa estilista y cosmetóloga, profesión que le permitió no solo expresar su creatividad y talento, sino también conectar y compartir con muchas personas a lo largo de los años.

Todos los que tuvieron la bendición de conocer a Mamá sabían tres cosas de ella: amaba a sus hijos y nietos con todo su corazón, era una persona bondadosa y generosa, y era increíblemente trabajadora. Nunca dudó en tender una mano amiga, ofrecer palabras de consuelo o dar todo lo que estuviera a su alcance a quien lo necesitara. Su fortaleza, compasión y generosidad fueron algunas de las muchas cualidades que hicieron que fuera tan profundamente amada.

Egbertina deja atrás a sus queridos hijos: René Solís y su esposa Edith, Reina Solís-Capcha y su esposo Luis, Irma Solís, Digna Caragan y su esposo Anthony, y Hairo Solís y su esposa Lauana.

Fue la querida abuela de Vanessa, Daniel, Sofía, Angelica, Vincent, Anthony Ray Jr., Scarlet, Josephine, Evan e Isabella. Sus nietos llenaron su vida de una felicidad inmensa, y el amor, las enseñanzas, las risas y los recuerdos que compartió con cada uno de ellos permanecerán para siempre en sus corazones y en las generaciones venideras.

También será profundamente extrañada por sus queridos hermanos, Bercia, Enerio, Mercedes, Altagracia, Roberto, Reynaldo, Tony y Antonio.

Aunque nuestros corazones están destrozados por su ausencia, encontramos consuelo al saber que el amor que ella dio tan generosamente permanecerá siempre con nosotros.

La vida de Egbertina fue un regalo, su amor fue una bendición y su memoria vivirá para siempre en los corazones de todos aquellos que tuvieron la dicha de conocerla y amarla. Será profundamente extrañada, amada por siempre y nunca olvidada.

Velatorio
Familiares y amigos están invitados a acompañarnos para honrar y celebrar la vida de Egbertina durante el velatorio, que se llevará a cabo el domingo, 30 de agosto de 2026, de 2:00 p.m. a 6:00 p.m. en la funeraria.

Misa de Funeral
La misa de funeral se celebrará el lunes, 31 de agosto de 2026, a las 10:00 a.m. en la Iglesia Católica Romana St. Augustine's, en Union City, Nueva Jersey.

Sepelio
Después de la misa fúnebre, se llevará a cabo el sepelio en el cementerio de Grove Church, en North Bergen, Nueva Jersey.

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Egbertina Solis, who entered eternal rest on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, in the comfort and peace of her own home.

A longtime resident of Weehawken, New Jersey, Egbertina was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, to the late Juana Ramona Dominguez and Francisco Antonio Inoa. From the very beginning, she was blessed with a kind heart, a beautiful spirit, and a warmth that touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Egbertina was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will now be reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Gregorio Solis.

Her greatest joy was her family. She dedicated her life to the people she loved, always putting her children and grandchildren first. She was a woman who loved deeply, gave generously, and worked tirelessly to provide for and care for those around her. She was also a talented beautician, a profession that allowed her not only to use her creativity and skill, but also to connect with many people throughout the years.

Everyone who had the blessing of knowing Mom knew three things about her: she loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart, she was a kind and generous person, and she was incredibly hardworking. She never hesitated to lend a helping hand, offer words of comfort, or give whatever she could to someone in need. Her strength, compassion, and selflessness were among the many qualities that made her so deeply loved.

Egbertina leaves behind her cherished children, Rene Solis and his wife Edith, Reina Solis-Capcha and her husband Luis, Irma Solis, Digna Caragan and her husband Anthony, and Hairo Solis and his wife Lauana.

She was the beloved grandmother of Vanessa, Daniel, Sofia, Angelica, Vincent, Anthony Ray Jr., Scarlet, Josephine, Evan, and Isabella. Her grandchildren brought immeasurable happiness to her life, and the love, wisdom, laughter, and memories she shared with each of them will remain in their hearts for generations to come.

She will also be deeply missed by her beloved siblings, Bercia, Enerio, Mercedes, Altagracia, Roberto, Reynaldo, Tony, and Antonio.

Though our hearts are broken by her absence, we find comfort in knowing that the love she gave so freely will never leave us.

Egbertina's life was a gift, her love was a blessing, and her memory will forever be a part of the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Visitation
Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Egbertina's life during visitation on Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 31, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church in Union City, New Jersey.

Interment
Interment will follow the Funeral Mass at Grove Church Cemetery in North Bergen, New Jersey.
