Cristobal Reyes

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Cristobal Reyes, who left us on October 5, 2025, at the age of 64. Cristobal was a hard-working, funny, and caring man whose warmth, humor, and vibrant spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

In January 2025, Cristobal was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. Despite the challenges, he faced each day with courage, grace, and his signature sense of humor. Even in his most difficult moments, he found ways to make others smile. His laughter, strength, and unwavering positivity will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

For the past twelve years, Cristobal called Fort Lauderdale, Florida, home, where he built lasting friendships and became a beloved part of his community. Though he made a life in Florida, his heart always remained in New Jersey, where he spent much of his life and where he will return to be laid to rest.

His sense of humor, kindness, and magnetic energy will live on in the hearts of those he loved and those who loved him in return. His spirit and "good vibes" will forever be missed, but never forgotten.

Cristobal is predeceased by his brothers Ricardo and Abraham and his sister Maribel. 

He is survived by his loving children, Melissa Diaz, Dagmara Broadway, Christopher Flores, and Christian Gonzalez. 

Cristobal will be remembered by his cherished grandchildren, Alyssa, Joshua, Grayson, Jeremy, Jeilany, and Lily.

He leaves behind his dear siblings Ernesto, Rafael Antonio, Luis Alonso, Nora, Rosa Matilde, and Elvia. 

Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, October 17th, 2025, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Funeral mass will be offered on Saturday, October 18th, 2025, at 9:30 am at St. Joseph's of the Palisades R.C. Church in West New York, NJ.

Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Fairview, NJ.

Con gran pesar, anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestro querido padre, Cristóbal Reyes, quien nos dejó el 5 de octubre de 2025 a la edad de 64 años. Cristóbal fue un hombre trabajador, divertido y cariñoso, cuya calidez, humor y espíritu vibrante dejaron una huella imborrable en todos los que lo conocieron.

En enero de 2025, Cristóbal fue diagnosticado con leucemia mieloide aguda. A pesar de los desafíos, afrontó cada día con valentía, gracia y su característico sentido del humor. Incluso en los momentos más difíciles, siempre supo hacer sonreír a los demás. Su risa, fortaleza y positividad inquebrantable serán profundamente extrañados por todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.

Durante los últimos doce años, Cristóbal vivió en Fort Lauderdale, Florida, donde forjó amistades duraderas y se convirtió en una persona muy querida de su comunidad. Aunque se forjó una vida en Florida, su corazón siempre permaneció en Nueva Jersey, donde pasó gran parte de su vida y donde regresará para recibir sepultura.

El sentido del humor, la amabilidad y la energía magnética de Cristóbal perdurarán en los corazones de quienes amó y de quienes lo amaron. Su espíritu y su buena vibra se extrañarán por siempre, pero nunca se olvidarán.

Cristóbal es presidido en muerte por sus hermanos Ricardo y Abraham y su hermana Maribel.

Le sobreviven sus amados hijos: Melissa Díaz, Dagmara Broadway, Christopher Flores y Christian González.

Cristóbal será recordado por sus adorados nietos: Alyssa, Joshua, Grayson, Jeremy, Jeilany y Lily.

Le sobreviven sus queridos hermanos: Ernesto, Rafael Antonio, Luis Alonso, Nora, Rosa Matilde y Elvia.

El velatorio para familiares y amigos será el viernes 17 de octubre de 2025, de 4:00 pm a 8:00 pm en la funeraria.

La misa funeral se ofrecerá el sábado 18 de octubre de 2025, a las 9:30 am en la St. Joseph's of the Palisades R.C. Church en West New York, Nueva Jersey.

El entierro se realizará en el cementerio Fairview en Fairview, Nueva Jersey.
