Christian Francisco Guerrero Barriga falleció en paz el 20 de junio de 2026, rodeado del amor de su familia en el Holy Name Medical Center de Teaneck, Nueva Jersey.

Nació en Quito, Ecuador, hijo de Cildana Barriga y Gualberto Guerrero. A lo largo de su vida fue reconocido por su dedicación a su familia, su fortaleza, su nobleza y el cariño que brindó a todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo. Disfrutó profundamente de los momentos compartidos con sus seres queridos, dejando recuerdos imborrables que perdurarán para siempre.

Christian fue un esposo ejemplar, un padre amoroso, un abuelo orgulloso y un hermano querido. Su amor incondicional, sus consejos y su dedicación a su familia constituyen el legado que deja a quienes continúan honrando su memoria.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Grace Y. Guerrero; sus queridos hijos, Cristina Guerrero y su esposo, Miguel Mora, y Christian A. Guerrero y su esposa, Marta Sepulveda; y sus adoradas nietas, Zoe Mora y Sarah Mora. También le sobreviven sus hermanos, Juan Erazo, Orwield Guerrero, Oliva Guerrero, Maria Cristina Guerrero y Mercedes Guerrero, además de numerosos familiares y amigos que lamentan profundamente su partida.

Aunque su ausencia deja un gran vacío, su familia encuentra consuelo en el amor que compartió, en los valores que transmitió y en los hermosos recuerdos que permanecerán vivos por siempre.

La velación para familiares y amigos se llevará a cabo el viernes 26 de junio, de 4:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m., en Barquin Funeral Home.

Posteriormente, Christian será sepultado en su querida ciudad natal de Quito, Ecuador.

Christian Francisco Guerrero Barriga passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026, surrounded by his loving family at Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, New Jersey.

Born in Quito, Ecuador, Christian was the beloved son of Cildana Barriga and Gualberto Guerrero. Throughout his life, he was known for his devotion to his family, his strength of character, and the kindness he extended to everyone around him. He cherished the time spent with his loved ones and created lasting memories that will forever remain in their hearts.

Christian was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and caring brother. His unwavering love, guidance, and dedication to his family were the foundation of his life and the legacy he leaves behind.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Grace Y. Guerrero; his loving children, Cristina Guerrero and her husband, Miguel Mora, and Christian A. Guerrero and his wife, Marta Sepulveda; and his cherished grandchildren, Zoe Mora and Sarah Mora. He is also survived by his siblings, Juan Erazo, Orwield Guerrero, Oliva Guerrero, Maria Cristina Guerrero, and Mercedes Guerrero, as well as many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss him.

Though his passing leaves a profound void, his family finds comfort in the love he shared, the values he instilled, and the countless memories that will continue to inspire future generations.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, June 26, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Barquin Funeral Home.

Following the services, Christian will be laid to rest in his beloved hometown of Quito, Ecuador.
