Carmen Rivera Obituary

Con corazones llenos de tristeza y profundo amor, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Carmen Antonia Rivera, una madre, abuela, bisabuela, hermana y amiga dedicada. Falleció en paz el miércoles 11 de febrero de 2026 en el Centro Médico St. Mary’s.

Carmen nació en Ponce, Puerto Rico, hija de Vicente y Mercedes Rivera.

Fue precedida en la muerte por su querido hijo, Carlos Rivera; y sus adorados nietos Nicolas Rivera y Victoria Muñoz encontramos consuelo al saber que ahora están reunidos.

Deja un hermoso legado a través de sus amados hijos: Tina Guzmán y su esposo, Elías; María C. Rivera; Nilda Rivera; Jorge Rivera y su esposa, Tita; Myrian Feliciano y su esposo, Radamés; Roberto Muñoz y su esposa, Jazmín Brito; y Cecilio Rivera y su esposa, Lucy.

Su amor se multiplicó a través de sus nietos: Natalie Rose, Christopher, Tatiana, Sergio, Adlin, Katelin, Jorge, Ashley, Anthony, Nathaniel, Matthew, Jeremy, Joseph, Olivia, Odalys y Alexandra, quienes fueron la luz de su vida.

También fue bendecida con bisnietos que le brindaron una alegría inmensurable: Justin, Lucas, Aidan, Miles, Aria, Alaia, Jaylin, Mila, Max, Kyarra, Zayden e Isabella. Cada uno ocupó un lugar especial en su corazón.

Carmen también será recordada con cariño por sus hermanos: Roberto Rivera, Margot Schleiner e Isabel Rodríguez, además de muchos familiares extendidos y queridos amigos cuyas vidas tocó.

Costurera talentosa de profesión, Carmen trabajó con sus manos, pero dio con el corazón. No solo cosía telas, sino también recuerdos, proveyendo para su familia con dedicación y orgullo. Más allá de su trabajo, tenía el don de hacer reír a los demás. A Carmen le encantaba contar chistes, compartir historias y llenar cada habitación de calidez y alegría. Su espíritu alegre, su agudeza y su naturaleza amorosa serán recordados para siempre.

El mayor logro de Carmen fue su familia. Les enseñó fortaleza, resiliencia, fe y la importancia del amor por encima de todo.

La velación para familiares y amigos se llevará a cabo el viernes 13 de febrero de 2026, de 4:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m., en la funeraria.

With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Carmen Antonia Rivera, a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 11th, 2026, at St. Mary’s Medical Center.

Carmen was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, to her parents, Vicente and Mercedes Rivera.

Carmen was preceded in death by her cherished son, Carlos Rivera, and her adored grandchildren, Nicolas Rivera and Victoria Muñoz. We find comfort knowing they are reunited.

She leaves behind a beautiful legacy through her loving children: Tina Guzman and her husband Elias; Maria C. Rivera; Nilda Rivera; Jorge Rivera and his wife Tita; Myrian Feliciano and her husband Radames; Roberto Muñoz and his wife Jazmin Brito; and Cecilio Rivera and his wife Lucy.

Her love multiplied through her grandchildren: Natalie Rose, Christopher, Tatiana, Sergio, Adlin, Katelin, Jorge, Ashley, Anthony, Nathaniel, Matthew, Jeremy, Joseph, Olivia, Odalys, and Alexandra. They were the light of her life.

She was further blessed with great-grandchildren who brought her immeasurable joy: Justin, Lucas, Aidan, Miles, Aria, Alaia, Jaylin, Mila, Max, Kyarra, Zayden, and Isabella. Each one held a special place in her heart.

Carmen is also lovingly remembered by her siblings: Roberto Rivera, Margot Schleiner, and Isabel Rodriguez, along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives she touched.

A talented seamstress by trade, Carmen worked with her hands but gave with her heart. She stitched not only fabric, but memories —providing for her family with dedication and pride. Beyond her work, she made people laugh. Carmen loved to tell jokes, share stories, and fill every room with warmth and laughter. Her joyful spirit, quick wit, and loving nature will forever be remembered.

Carmen’s greatest accomplishment was her family. She taught them strength, resilience, faith, and the importance of love above all else.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, February 13th, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever in our hearts.
