Aselio Bacallao

Aselio (Lelo) Bacallao entered eternal rest on Friday, May 22nd at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Wayne, NJ, at age 86. Of West New York, NJ, Lelo was born in La Havana, Cuba, to parents, Juan Antonio and Cora (nee Torrens) Bacallao. 

Lelo came to the United States in 1962 and worked as a Long Shoreman for many years. As photography and music were his passions, Lelo's family will continue to enjoy the art that he created. 
Lelo was the consummate host, with many guests remembering gatherings at his home, and always leaving with a smile upon their face. Those who were close knew that he was a very kind and generous man. He was always there to lend a hand to family and friends in times of need. 
Lelo is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Juan and sister, Araceli, among other close family members. 
Most of all, Lelo leaves behind his loving and devoted wife, Dorice, son, Lazaro and daughter, Jennifer. Lelo will be missed by all who knew him.
