Anthony D'Amato Obituary

Anthony P. D’Amato passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of devotion, service, and love. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, he was the beloved son of Anthony D’Amato and Christine Amabile.

Anthony was a proud United States Army veteran, serving his country honorably from 1952 to 1954, achieving the rank of Corporal. His military service was a source of lifelong pride and reflected his strong sense of duty, discipline, and patriotism.

He was the devoted husband of Maria D’Amato, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage. Together, they built a family rooted in love, strength, and enduring commitment. Anthony was a proud and loving father to his five children: Elizabeth, Philip, Cindy, Susan, and Diana D’Amato.

Anthony found great joy in his role as a grandfather and is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Danielle E. Ramos, Thalia J. Diaz, Madison I. D’Amato, Kristina Cruz, Penelope M. D’Amato, and Jaxon Cruz. His presence, wisdom, and gentle guidance will live on through them.

He is also survived by his dear sister, Josephine Casella, with whom he shared a lifelong bond.
