Con gran pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de Andrés D. Batista, un amado esposo, padre, abuelo y bisabuelo, quien falleció el sábado 30 de agosto de 2025 en el Centro Médico Palisades de North Bergen, Nueva Jersey.

Residente de North Bergen, Nueva Jersey, él nació en Matanzas, Cuba, hijo de Enrique Casado y Matilde (Empleado).

A Andrés le sobreviven su devota esposa, Dulce Batista, con quien estuvo casado 54 años, y su querida hija, María Soto-Macmaster, y su esposo, Percival.

Deja atrás a sus adorados nietos: Mirko M. Soto, Verónica Macmaster y Maite Hollenbeck.

Será recordado por sus queridos bisnietos: Alekzander Pérez, Mirko A. Soto y James Soto.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Andres D. Batista, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. who passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen, NJ.

A resident of North Bergen, NJ, he was born in Matanzas, Cuba, to his parent, Enrique Casado and Matilde (Empleado).

Andres is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Dulce Batista, and their loving daughter, Maria Soto-Macmaster, and her husband, Percival.

He leaves behind her adored grandchildren, Mirko M. Soto, Veronica Soto, and Maite Hollenbeck.

He will be remembered by his cherished great-grandchildren, Alekzander Perez, Mirko A. Soto, and James Soto.
