Abelardo Lugo Contreras

Abelardo Lugo Contreras entered eternal rest on Wednesday, January 10th, 2024, at Palisades Medical Center, North Bergen.

A resident of Union City, NJ, he was born in Caimito, La Vega, Dominican Republic, to his parents, Antonio Lugo and Blanca Contreras.

Abelardo is survived by his devoted wife, Miguelina Abreu de Lugo, and his beloved children, Ingrid Lugo, Yudelkis Lugo, and Damaris Lugo.

He will be remembered by his adored grandchildren Amanda Duran, Adriel Duran, Alexa Pedroso, and Alejandro Pedroso.

Abelardo leaves behind his dear siblings Ermitaño, Antonia, Daniela, Mejido, Emilio, and Victor.

Visitation for friends and family will be on Sunday, January 14th, 2024, 2:00 ~ 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

Morning visitation will be on Monday, January 15th, 2024, 10:00 ~ 11:00 am at the funeral home.

Funeral Service will be on Monday, January 15th, 2024, at 11:00 am at the funeral home.

Interment will follow service at Flower Hill Cemetery, North Bergen, NJ.
