Elia (Casanova) Fernandez

Elia Fernandez (Casanova) entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 19th, 2019, at Manhattan View Nursing Center, Union City.

Of West New York, NJ she was born in San Cristobal, Pinar del Rio, Cuba to her the late parents Pablo Casanova and Maria (de la Vega).

Elia is survived by her daughter Maria Elena del Pino, along with her grandchildren Ray del Pino and his wife Norma, and Rebecca del Pino and her husband Craig Washington.

She also leaves behind her cherished great grandchildren Raymond and Jennifer del Pino, Michael Fernandez, Justin, Jordan, and Max Martinez.

Visitation will be Monday, December 23rd from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, December 23rd, 11:15 am, at St. Joseph’s of the Palisades R.C Church, West New York, NJ.

Interment to follow at Weehawken Cemetery, North Bergen, NJ
