Benita E. Tapia, surrounded by her family entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 5th, 2019, at her home.

Of Little Ferry, NJ she was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic to her late parents Jose Genao Tapia and Maria Otilia Genao.

She is survived by her loving children Agustin Maria Nuñez, Rafael Teodoro Nuñez, Mercedes del Carmen Nuñez, Nidia Andrea Nuñez, Santiago Jesus Nuñez, Jesus Maria Nuñez, Altagracia de Jesus Nuñez, Julio Maria Nuñez, Eduviges Mercedes Nuñez, and Judith Fernandez.

Her cherished grandchildren Kelvin, Christopher, Edwin, Ludovino, Iris, Omar, Orlando, Daisy, Aileen, Crystal, Randolph, Ryan, Juan, Mery, Doly, Isabel, Belkis, Jose, Angela, Lamar, Alex, Kenia, Ariel, Roberto, Rafael, Euripedes, Anthony, Denise, Carlos and Santiago.

Visitation will be Friday, September 6th, from 2-9 pm, at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass Saturday, 10:30 am, St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Hackensack, NJ.

Interment to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Hackensack, NJ.
